Synopsis

The story began years ago, on the campus of a major university. You were a freshman and spent more time learning Sufi dance from a local whirling dirvish than studying. Your brother, always a little more clumsy and distracted than you, had nevertheless managed to obtain a doctorate and was immediately offered a position as a researcher in the archeology department. The trouble began when he returned from a year-long expedition to the rainforests of South America. Not only had he returned without any of the tools borrowed from the university, but he had left no note describing his stay. Worried about his future and intrigued by his incessant whispers about priceless ancient artifacts, you decided to retrace his journey.
