Synopsis

The benevolent kingdom of Midgard and the evil kingdom of Neflheim have long been united by a powerful, long-tolerated spell. But the evil begins to spread. As a young magician, your goal is to accumulate enough points to become a high-level magician and cast the spell that could wipe out both worlds. Unfortunately, powerful magicians consider this too dangerous and will do anything to stop you. The gameplay is reminiscent of Gauntlet: your magician is seen from above and projects lightning bolts of magic on his enemies. There are actually four control modes; the other three allow you to prepare more advanced spells, learn them by reading spellbooks, and buy new ones. Spells must be prepared in real time, and a miscast can have disastrous consequences.
