Synopsis

This game is the sequel to Ironsword: Wizards & Warriors II released on NES. The game features Knight Kuros, "one of the bravest warriors to ever wield the IronSword" as well as the only person to defeat the evil sorcerer Malkil. After Malkil's defeat in Ironsword, he went into retirement for over 17 years, with no one hearing from him during that time. Then, Princess Elaine disappears without a trace, leading Kuros to believe that Malkil has captured her and imprisoned her in the fearsome Fortress of Fear, located in the Zanifer Woods. Kuros then ventures into the Fortress of Fear to stop Malkil from continuing his evil plans. However, many people went inside the Fortress of Fear, but none of them survived.
