Synopsis

The protagonist of the first game, Léopard Château-Lyon, finds himself wandering in a forest, with no memory of his past except his name. He is captured by two warriors and brought to their queen. It seems that there are only women in this country, when the hero says that he is a man, the queen rejoices and tells him about an ancient legend which prophesies the advent of a creature named man, who will save their country from the merciless queen of the neighboring country. The hero must live up to his heroic status and defeat the enemy forces that threaten the country.
Wonpara Wars II follows the same principle as its predecessor: defeat the enemy army in chess-style battles. The rules of the board game itself are more complex. There are new pieces, taken from Western chess, as well as original pieces.
