Synopsis

Wooden Ships and Iron Men transports the player to the era of great naval battles, where nations like Spain, Great Britain, the United States and France competed for domination of the seas. The rumble of the broadsides mixes with the creaking of the rigging while the frigates maneuver to position themselves in a perilous manner. The outcome of the battle hinges on tactical decisions, with captains striving to take advantage of the wind and break through enemy lines. Legendary sailors like John Paul Jones aboard the Bonhomme Richard, Admiral Nelson on the HMS Victory, and Lawrence of the Chesapeake return to sea. Thanks to a system of simultaneous movements, each turn remains uncertain, making every decision crucial to victory or defeat.
