Synopsis

In World Championship Boxing Manager, the player can develop the careers of aspiring heavyweight boxers. Options are selected via an icon-based system, representing the manager's desktop. There are 97 in the game, so reaching the top of the leaderboard will take around 15-20 fights. Choosing a beatable opponent who can get the highest possible fight on the Friday night bill, as well as negotiating the best financial deal and a mutually acceptable challenge, are the main considerations.

Two different governing bodies are included in the game, each with subtly different rules.
