Synopsis

Four race modes are available:

1. Free Racing: Race around the circuit as you please, getting to know the curves and straights and your car's settings.
2. Speed racing: Take part in a season of races in four categories - Novice, Class B, Class A and Super A - on well-known circuits (Fuji, Suzuka) and lesser-known ones (Family Park, Namcot-ring), vying for first place.
3. Endurance race: Race around a track to see who drops out last.
4. Spectator mode: This is not a real race mode, but allows you to follow any car in any class on any circuit.

When you hit objects or push your car too hard, you'll have to stop in the pits, where you'll receive statistics on each car part and can choose to repair it. Some of this realism is cancelled out, however, by the fact that cars can never collide. It's entirely possible to run into an opponent without both cars being damaged.
