Synopsis

Worms Armageddon is an expansion to Worms 2 that improves several aspects of gameplay and includes the ability to play over the Internet via Team 17's WORMNET.

For those who have never played Worms, the game is similar to the old Artillery game, where you control an artillery piece. In essence, you set the angle and power of the shot, then try to hit your enemy, despite wind effects and enemy fire. Worms puts you in control of a team of worms, but you can not only move around the landscape, but also use many types of weapons to try to eliminate the enemy, from bazookas to mini-cannons to exploding sheep.

Everything is presented in a humorous, cartoonish style, from the landscapes to the worms themselves, including their cries of triumph or despair, depending on your performance.
