Synopsis

WWF WrestleMania: Steel Cage Challenge is a professional wrestling video game based on the World Wrestling Federation. Modes vary from one-on-one matches, tag team, WWF Championship (in which the player chooses their character and battles others to become WWF Champion), and Tag Team Championship.

Find ten characters such as Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, I.R.S., Ted DiBiase, Ric Flair, Tatanka, Bret Hart, Papa Shango, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels.

Each of the wrestlers have the same types of movements which consist, among other things, of punching and kicking, doing holds (body slam, throw, headbutts), fast attacks (flying clothesline, dropkick) and ground attacks. No finishing holds are exposed. However, it is the first home console video game based on the WWF to show cage matches (early cage matches were previously exhibited in arcade game WWF WrestleFest).
