Synopsis

Xenon 2: Megablast is a vertical-scrolling space shooter in which you have to pass several levels filled with waves of enemies, all of which end with a boss. Each group of enemies you destroy earns you a cash reward, and every now and then you enter Colin's Bargain Basement, where you can use that cash to purchase upgrades for your ship, such as better weapons, speed and health upgrades, and more. Some upgrades can also be collected during levels. The first part of the game has an organic feel, while the second part features mechanical enemies. As the game has maze-like sections with dead ends, your spaceship moves backwards when you press the "down" key.
