Synopsis

Fashion designer Miyu Izawa and her three model friends decide to take a trip to Mexico. But the death in strange circumstances of two of the top models will turn the life of our heroine upside down, who will have to lead the investigation.
Harukanaru Kioku is a remake of the previous Yami no Ketsuzoku games. The basic plot follows the events that began in the first episode, but it is told in a completely different way, with different scenes, dialogues, etc. For example, the game begins a little before the starting point of the first episode, and contains conversations between protagonist Miyu Izawa and murder victim Marie, which were not present in the original story. The visual style of the game is also very different, with animated cartoon-like graphics, atypical of previous games.
In terms of gameplay, this installment also differs from previous games by significantly reducing interactions. All dialogue in the game is spoken, and much of the narration is revealed through Miyu's thoughts which act as cutscenes rather than interaction with the environment. In essence, the game is a fairly linear visual novel with certain occasions where the player is able to visit different locations.
