Synopsis

After trying to save a drowning young woman, the hero of Young Merlin is drawn into a fantastic world threatened by the evil King of Shadows. Naturally, it is your duty to save this world and also save the aforementioned woman who was kidnapped by the Shadow King. This is done in typical action-adventure fashion: you must fight enemies using spells that are gathered during game progression as well as solve puzzles and use several items. What sets Young Merlin apart from other action adventures is the fact that there is no text throughout the game, but icons are used to represent conversations. Additionally, the game uses passwords, instead of a battery to save players' progress.
