Synopsis

Kager no Toki is part of the Zan saga and follows the game Yasha Enbukyoku.
Unlike the previous game, Kager? no Toki does not contain any supernatural forces (demons) and focuses on concrete events from the Sengoku period in Japan, more precisely in the 16th century, a period of Japanese history marked by continuous wars and by famous figures such as Oda Nobunaga or Tokugawa Ieyasu.
The game offers more strategic possibilities than previous installments in the series. By choosing a region of Japan and its leader, the player can perform a variety of activities, both within their country and with other leaders. Diplomacy includes negotiation, signing of contracts and peace treaties, etc.
Battles are also more in-depth than before; Instead of semi-automatic encounters, battles take place on a separate map, where the player must actively navigate their unit, before engaging the enemy in close combat.
