Synopsis

Zanax EX is an enhanced version of the vertical scrolling shooter Zanac A.I. While retaining the locations and gameplay of the original version, this version builds on the graphical improvements of the Famicom/NES version of Zanac A.I..
The backgrounds are significantly more detailed than in the original version; some locations also feature different graphics. Scrolling is also smoother than in previous versions, significantly improving the feeling of control and gaming speed. The status bar, which occupied the right side of the screen in the original version, has been moved to the top of the screen, thus taking up much less space.
