Synopsis

The Zaxxon defense system must be destroyed in this isometric shooter that has been a huge success in arcades. The game has 3 levels, the first taking you through Asteroid City, which is heavily protected by planes, cannons and missiles. Many barriers are equipped with alarms, giving you little space to progress, and you have to constantly dodge shots.

The second stage is a space shootout against hordes of enemy planes, those that you failed to destroy in the first part of the mission. Complete this stage and you will reach the final battle against Zaxxon. If you survive the first attempt, the game will restart with an increased difficulty level. There are 3 distinct difficulty levels, and the controls consist of using the forward key to dive and the back key to climb, similar to a flight simulator.
