Synopsis

With gameplay similar to the isometric Desert Strike, Zeewolf offers arcade helicopter combat in a 3D environment. Despite primarily action-oriented gameplay, the 32 levels often involve support, transport and rescue missions - for example, dropping or resupplying friendly units in the combat zone. In exchange, other units serve as rearmament points or help you fight the enemy.

The order of the levels can be chosen freely and the game can be played with the joystick or - somewhat unusually - with the mouse.
Although the field of view is somewhat limited, the 3D graphics are very attractive and behave smoothly during gameplay. Here the game uses a third-person engine that looks at the helicopter from the side and displays a certain amount of land mass in a square around it.
