Synopsis

Zan-Nihon Pro Wrestling: Fight da Pon! is a mix of board game and wrestling. In the main mode, you can choose from one of six stories, and after an animated intro, you start the game on a board seen in isometric 3D. A gauge lets you know how many squares you can advance. Some allow you to obtain new cards, each representing a wrestling hold. Others trigger cutscenes or fights. Before the fight, the player builds his "deck" by choosing the cards he wants to use. During fights, your wrestler and the CPU wrestler face each other and start moving. You must then select a card at the right time to place an attack, and repeat the maneuver until your opponent's energy is at zero. You can then select a card with a submission hold or a "fall" card for victory. The software has a "battle" mode which allows you to face a second player (or the CPU) only in the card game.
