Synopsis

Zone Ranger is an arcade action game somewhat similar to Asteroids. You are the pilot of a spaceship in a deadly region of space. Big killer rocks, rogue satellites, boomerangs and more fill this region of space. Using your ships' lasers, you must destroy as many as possible to earn points. Each level also contains warp holes; enter one of these and you will be transported to a new location, which could be useful if you get into trouble. You'll also occasionally encounter sonic sparklers; touch one of them and you will become temporarily invincible. Another oddity you might encounter is a super portal, which will transport you to the inner sanctum where bonus points can be found.
