Synopsis

Adaptation of Zork, developed on the PDP-10 mainframe at MIT by Tim Anderson, Marc Blank, Bruce Daniels, and Dave Lebling between 1977 and 1979, Zork I is a text adventure game. The adventure takes place in the Great Underground Empire and puts the player in the shoes of an adventurer in search of Zork's 19 treasures. The player must answer puzzles, fight monsters, and explore caves and dungeons. He must also regularly find sources of light. Without any graphics, each location will be described to you and you will have to enter commands such as "take torch" to hope for a little light and the classic "north", "east" or just "n" and "e") to move around.
