Cycle-accurate Game Boy and Game Boy Color emulator. Extremely faithful to the original hardware, ideal for romhacks and GB speedruns. It covers the following systems: GB, GBC.

1. Installation

  1. Download the latest version from the project's official website.
  2. Extract the archive into a dedicated folder.
  3. Launch it once: it will create its configuration and subfolders.

2. Supported formats

.gb .gbc .sgb

3. Good to know

  • Set up your controller on first launch: it's the biggest time-saver.
  • Save states let you resume exactly where you left off, in addition to the game's own saves.
  • A setting that works well for one system won't necessarily suit another: adjust case by case.

4. Not working?

  • The game doesn't show up → check that its extension is among the formats listed above.
  • Crash on launch → relaunch from a folder the emulator has write access to.
