TeknoParrot

Launcher/compatibility layer for modern Windows-based arcade games (Type X, Lindbergh/RingEdge, etc.). It covers the following systems: Chihiro, Lindbergh, RingEdge, RingEdge2, Taito Type X, TeknoParrot.

1. Installation

1. Get the latest version from the project's official website.
2. Extract the archive into a dedicated folder.
3. Launch it once: it creates its configuration and subfolders.

3. Good to know

• Arcade games stay zipped: don't extract them.
• It's best to use a file set matching the emulator's version — that avoids most verification errors.
• Many cabinets require inserting a coin before starting the game.
• A setting that works for one machine won't necessarily work for others: adjust case by case.

4. Not working?

• The game doesn't show up → check that its extension is one of the formats listed above.
• Verification error on launch → the file set doesn't match the emulator's version.
