Synopsis

In this first-person role-playing game, you are one of many people who have been abducted from Earth by aliens and transported to an alternate dimension where you are thrown into a strange, but familiar city. Your quest is to explore the city and find the clues that will lead you to your captors and help you return home.

In addition to the classic first-person RPGs of the time, such as skills, statistics, experience points and a directory of shops and places to visit, the game offered a moral evaluation of your character, and depending on your actions, you could be good or bad, which influenced how the environment reacted to you. Encounters weren't necessarily resolved through combat, but you could also try to trick, charm, or bribe your opponents, and the storyline wasn't at all linear, allowing you for example to take a job in order to improve a particular skill or simply to pass the time.
