Synopsis

Bringing back the much-loved, free-for-all gameplay of previous Animal Crossing titles, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is a no-holds-barred game. No goals, no storyline, not even an ending: you can enjoy your life in your new city however you want. And since time in the game passes at the same rate as in the real world, every day brings new experiences!

Your adventure in Animal Crossing: New Leaf begins by chance: shortly after your arrival in town, a mistake on the part of Marie, the town clerk, makes you the mayor! You can still do whatever you please, but your new role as mayor allows you to shape the city as you wish. Create public works projects to add buildings, bridges and all sorts of decorative features, issue bylaws (aka laws) to determine how your city operates... You are free to create the city of your dreams!
