Synopsis

Ankh Tutankhamun no Nazo is a first-person adventure game in which the player is called by Professor Yoshimura Sakuzi to come to Egypt, after the death of his father. When he arrived there, a seer told him that Egypt had been waiting for him for 300 years. He decides to find the legendary valley with the help of the professor to discover the mystery of Tutankhamun.

Tutankhamun was an Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty (reigned c. 1333 BC – 1323 BC in conventional chronology), during the period of Egyptian history known as the New Kingdom. Its original name, Tutankhaten, means "Living Image of Aten", while Tutankhamun means "Living Image of Amon".

The gameplay is a classic first-person adventure game with lots of animated video sequences, all in the Japanese language.
