Synopsis

Aoki Ookami to Shiroki Mejika - Genchou Hishi is a 2D turn-based strategy game, based on the life of the historical Mongol leader Temujin, better known as Genghis Khan. The gameplay is similar to other Koei strategy games, like Romance of the Three Kingdoms or Nobunaga's Ambition. The game features different scenarios ranging from the conquest of Mongolia (the unification of the Mongol tribes) to the conquest of the world (with up to six playable factions). On the world map (divided into smaller provinces), the player develops his own provinces, issues orders to subordinates, establishes alliances and recruits armies. Battles are presented in a separate mode, where the player leads troops using commands.
