Synopsis

Assault: Retribution provides you with the best firepower that modern technology can provide, along with various customization options to ensure "better life through quick death." Washington uses a barrage of destructive weapons such as the P-420 Multi-Phase Pulse Rifle and the aptly named Cutter; Doyle uses a variety of Homing missiles, beam lasers, and the D-16 magnetic bolt accelerator. There's also a plethora of items to collect, including weapon upgrades, health, ammo refills, smart bombs, extra lives, shields and more. Save points inside each level allow you to resume the kill at a time that suits you best. And (rare from 1999) there's a two-player co-op mode in case you feel like an ultimate killing machine isn't enough.
