Synopsis
Vanark is, at heart, a shooter. Of course, it's a 3D shooter "on rails" in the great tradition of Star Fox or the Saturn Panzer Dragoon series, but the difference here is that it's the first great specimen of the genre with the PlayStation. It's a tried-and-true formula, and while Asmik had plenty of opportunities to screw up the formula, thankfully they never really dropped the ball, at least when it came to the shooting parts.
