Synopsis

Backgammon is a board game for two players in which the playing pieces are moved according to the roll of the dice. A player wins by removing all his pawns from the board. There are many variations of backgammon, most of which share common traits. Backgammon is a member of the table family, one of the oldest classes of board games in the world.
Although luck plays an important role, strategy is vast. With each roll of the dice, the player must choose from numerous options to move his pawns and anticipate possible counter-moves from the opponent. Players can increase the stakes during the game. There is an established repertoire of common tactics and occurrences.
The objective is to remove all the pawns from the board before the opponent can do the same. The pawns are scattered at the start and can be blocked or hit by the opponent. As the playing time of each game is short, it is often played in matches, where victory is awarded to the first player to reach a certain number of points.
The game offers 6 different types of boards, 3 different types of pieces and 2 normal game modes and vs mode.
