Synopsis

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance places the player in the shoes of one of three basic characters: an elf witch, a human archer or a dwarf fighter. After humble beginnings killing rats in the cellars of an inn, the adventurer will explore caves, crypts and mountain passes. Naturally, all of this is filled to the brim with horrific monsters, traps, treasures and legendary magic weapons. As the game progresses, the player is constantly rewarded with new weapons, new monsters to fight, and experience points to add to the adventurer's character's stats to make them even more powerful. The adventurer must finally unravel the secrets of a new and dark guild of thieves supported by powerful mages.
