Synopsis
Below the Root is based on Zilpha Keatley Snyder's fantasy book series 'The Green-Sky Trilogy'. Following the events in these books, the Kindar and Erdling societies united. However, unrest and mistrust persist. An old woman, D'ol Falla, heard the words ''The spirit fades, in darkness extends. A quest is coming, the Light is dying. Choosing one of five available people (of varying ages and of Kindar or Erdling descent) who she thinks can help, D'ol Falla sets her with the task of discovering what these words mean and how to ease the racial and political tensions developing between the races.
