Synopsis

Blockids for PlayStation is a 3D version of the arcade classic Breakout. Players choose one of eight animated characters and prepare to face an array of colorful adversaries whose fortresses must be destroyed. The goal is to break a series of bricks by hitting a ricocheting ball using a horizontal racket.
The default view is presented from top to bottom, but players can switch to a perspective just behind the racket to get a 3D feel. New variations of the classic game include the ability to bounce the ball over barriers and earn a special bonus by scoring a certain number of points.
Level progression and high scores during gameplay can be saved to a memory card, with mouse support also available for precise sliding movement.
