Synopsis

Bomberman Wars explores its turn-based game system, taking inspiration from the Shining Force series. It contains two basic game modes. The first mode is Story Mode, where players take on the role of King Bomberman and progress through the game's levels to fight the forces of the Dark Bomber. New characters with additional skills and powers join players as they progress in the game. The second mode is the “Battle” mode where two players face each other or one player against an opponent managed by the computer. Bomberman Wars includes 25 levels with a 5 stage system for each level. There are also hidden or special levels. The levels are made in three dimensions and include objects specific to the series, such as bombs or even bonuses allowing you to gain movement speed.
