Synopsis

Once the land is suddenly torn apart by the Great Chasm, Luxendarc's mode is plunged into darkness. The four elemental crystals lighting the world, fire, water, wind and earth, are consumed by an overwhelming force that deteriorates the natural balance. The once dormant volcanoes awaken and the once calm oceans become agitated and disturbed.

Agnès Oblige, the guardian of the Wind Crystal, is spared when the residents of her temple sacrifice their lives to protect her from the dark fate that awaits the Wind Crystal. Guided by a fairy called Airy, Agnès embarks on a perilous journey to awaken the crystals and bring light back to Luxendarc.

During this catastrophe, the Village of Norende was completely swallowed up by the Great Chasm, and Tiz Arrior was the only survivor. Determined to rebuild his home and restore justice, Tiz joins Agnes in her quest.
