Synopsis

Burnout is an arcade-style racing game in the vein of the Test Drive or Need For Speed ​​series. In this game you race on realistic roads with real traffic to contend with.

There are 6 tracks to race on, 3 of which are reminiscent of Europe and 3 of which are reminiscent of the United States. There are several vehicles to choose from, ranging from compact cars to pickup trucks. However, they are not based on actual makes and models.

One of the notable features of Burnout is the “Burn Meter”. The Burn Meter is a gauge that fills when you perform reckless stunts, like driving the wrong way or skidding around corners. Once the Burn Meter is filled, your car benefits from an exceptional speed boost.
