Synopsis

This version was designed to provide the authentic and complete deer hunting experience of previous versions through some of the most realistic 3D environments the series has to offer to date. Six guns and two bows are available in this hunting simulation, along with other important equipment. Virtual outdoor enthusiasts can enter "Mission" or "Quick Hunt" game modes to hunt white-tailed deer,
black, fallow deer, Sitka deer, desert mule, or Rocky Mountain mule through six varied terrain zones. Animals have an artificial intelligence specific to each species. A day/night cycle and different weather conditions affect hunting and add realism.
Cabela's Ultimate Deer Hunt: Open Season, was developed by Coresoft Games, and is primarily based on the original 2001 PC game by nFUSION Interactive, but features some different environments and weapons.
