Synopsis

Catan Die Erste Insel is the adaptation for Playstation of the famous board game "The Settlers of Catan". It offers a 3D environment that simulates the board game against several AI opponents. Provides a simple introduction to the game. Includes a campaign of 12 missions, several of which were developed by board game designer Klaus Teuber. Includes free game variants for the board game and the "Die Seefahrer" (Sailors of Catan) expansion. Catan uses a game board consisting of 19 randomly arranged hexagonal tiles, each representing a different type of terrain or resource. Through strategy, luck and skillful negotiations, 3 or 4 players compete to be the first to earn 10 victory points. To do this, they build and expand settlements, build the largest army, build the longest road or use certain development cards.
