Synopsis

As a young Roman legionary in 275 BC. BC, your mission is to conquer the known world by force or diplomacy, fighting on land and sea. You start with a province, Rome, and a legion. To complete the game, you must conquer all provinces on the map.
Part of the game is micromanaging your provinces. You set tax rates and you make people happy by having games. In Rome, you can organize a chariot race, a gladiator fight or even a simulated naval battle.
Another part of the game is military conquest. You can raise legions or reinforce them in any province you control. There are three types of legions, each with a different strength. You can also move a legion to a neighboring province.
