Synopsis

Rewrite history with Civilization II as you lead your people to the promised land of peace and harmony with neighboring cultures.
You begin Civilization II as the leader of a tiny tribe, leading a subsistence existence in an age where wood fires are considered high-tech. Using your leadership and strategy skills, you must explore your world, expand your empire and ensure the survival of your way of life in what may prove to be a world of opulence.
As time passes and your success increases, you will form new alliances, make new enemies, discover new technologies and new systems of government. Noble objectives which will sometimes lead you to play the card of brinkmanship, double dealing and backstabbing, but it is for the good of all.
