Synopsis

Conqueror is a polygonal isometric action/strategy game with an elaborate control system (emulating the controls of a "real" tank on normal joysticks) and two-player capabilities by changing the controls to use one joystick for the shooter and another for the pilot. The goal of the game is generally to destroy all enemy tanks on the map using a predefined tank squad. Tanks on the player's side that are not controlled by the player act according to the AI, but the tank controlled by the player can be changed at will thanks to a map in the game. The player can also use this map to direct the tanks to other locations, but even when planning troop movements on the map, the game continues. To top it all off, the player has a limited amount of resources that they can gain by destroying enemies. These resources can then be used to purchase new tanks before the next mission begins.
