Synopsis
2006 FIFA World Cup features all 12 official stadiums used during the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, as well as stadiums from each qualifying region. Players can play as their favorite team from the qualifying phases to a virtual reproduction of the tournament in Germany. With enhanced player animations, EA SPORTS has replicated nearly 100 of the world's biggest superstars, capturing their playing style and individual appearance.
In addition to allowing players to compete in the 2006 FIFA World Cup by taking control of one of 127 national teams, the game features exciting new game modes, including the revolutionary Global Challenge mode, which challenges even the most seasoned football fans by recreating classic moments from World Cup history.
The game also supports multiplayer matches of up to eight players and offers a wealth of unlockable content, such as legendary players and exclusive outfits.
