Synopsis

In Crossbow, you and several friends attempt to cross numerous treacherous landscapes in order to recover stolen treasures from the Master of Evil's castle. Not everyone in your party is armed, but you carry a crossbow. Using it, you must shoot any obstacles or hostile enemies that may be in the way of your friends as they cross the screen. You see the landscape from a first-person perspective, and one by one, each party member will walk from left to right on the screen. There are lots of different landscapes to traverse, each with their own variety of dangers. There are deserts with scorpions, ice caverns, jungles with hostile monkeys, a volcano spewing lava, and even a heavily guarded castle. The game starts with two friends in your party, and other friends join you after you clear certain parts of the game. The game ends when everyone in your party has been killed.
