Synopsis

Dance Dance Revolution, often abbreviated DDR, is a series of musical video games produced by Konami.
During the game, music, generally quite rhythmic, is played, and arrows scroll from bottom to top on the screen. The player(s) must press the corresponding buttons on the controller (or on a dance mat specially developed for the game) when the arrows reach a marker made up of fixed arrows at the top of the screen.
For each arrow, the game displays an assessment based on the gap between when the player should have taken the step and when he actually did it (or not). The goal of the game is to be as synchronous with the music as possible.
