Synopsis

Dancing Stage Party Edition is part of Konami's family-focused Bemani line of music titles. Using a standard controller or a special dance pad accessory (available separately), players must press the corresponding buttons as soon as they appear on screen. Bonuses are awarded for free spins, with additional tracks and hidden items unlocked as the game progresses.

Four main game modes allow the user to play a simple conversion of the arcade game, practice with some tracks, master the basics via a tutorial mode or even lose weight with Workout mode, aided by the on-screen calorie counter). Players can also compete against each other using two mats or a separate controller, each aiming to accumulate more points than their rival.

Dancing Stage Party Edition contains 51 songs, including "Can't Get You Out of My Head" by Kylie Minogue, "Don't Stop Movin'" by S Club 7, "You Got the Love" by Rufus and Chaka Khan, and contributions from the Cardigans and the Bloodhound Gang, as well as original tracks from Konami Japan.
