Synopsis

As its name does not indicate, Darius Gaiden is the third arcade part of the famous Taito shooting saga. After having experimented in the first two parts with an impressive system using 3 screens side by side, this sequel returns to a more “classic” format and runs on the very efficient Taito F3 system. But fortunately, the special atmosphere of the other games is still there, faithful to the post.

For those who are not familiar with the series, Darius is a horizontal scrolling shoot 'em up whose particularity lies in the style of the enemies, half-robots, half-fish, as well as in its very strange musical atmosphere.
