Synopsis

Dark Tales from the Lost Soul is an obscure Japanese horror game. Dark Tales allows the player to experience three distinct stories.
This is an interesting little Choose Your Own Adventure type title where you go through three separate stories, selecting different choices when prompted, and surviving the attempts of evil beings on your life. The game is divided into several moments: "DECIDE" (make a selection), "DECIDE/Dodge" (in which you must dodge attacks), "DECIDE/Shoot" (attempt to shoot the enemy), as well as an additional series of dodge events and two "mini-games". There are also quick reflex trials, in which you must quickly press the indicated button.
Naturally, there are multiple endings to find depending on the decisions you make. It seems like there are "end points" associated with endings, but I'm not sure what significance they have, if any.
