Synopsis

The popular hunt comes to the portable screen in DEER HUNTER for Game Boy Color. You play as a hunter looking to catch a nice trophy in one of four different zones using three different weapons. Hunt deer with a shotgun, rifle, or bow, using slightly different tactics for each. If you want to be successful, you will need to use real hunting strategies. Look for droppings or other signs of movement to find the best place to wait. Once there, use one of several tools to help you catch your prey: mask your scent with a cover scent, use a tree stand for camouflage, or lure deer with strong musk, a deer call, or a wooden rattle. It's up to you how to catch the deer; Some methods are more effective than others, so you'll need to find which one works best for you. Detailed graphics and digitized audio complete the experience for future hunters.
