Synopsis

The 1998 edition of Taito's popular train simulation license is once again ported to numerous machines. For the first time on PlayStation, it is possible to drive in snowy areas and take a seat in the cockpit of a Shinkansen, the Japanese TGV.

The gameplay is more arcade-oriented. The main objective is to stop at the different stations at the perfect time, keep an eye on timetables, pay attention to railway signs, speed limits and ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. In the event of an error, points are deducted from a counter, if the latter reaches 0, it is game over.

The following routes are available:
1. The Hokuhoku Line between Naoetsu and Uragawara
2. The Tohoku Shinkansen line between Marioka and Shin-Hanamaki
3. The Akita Shinkansen line between Akita and Omagari
4. The Keihin-Tohoku line between Shinagawa and Ueno
5. The Osaka Circular Line between Osaka and Tennoji (missing from the original Arcade version)
6. The Kagoshima Main Line between Hakata and Kokura (exclusive to PlayStation and Windows versions)
