Synopsis

Tōya Kumono and his friends Seishirō and Kasumi are fairly average high school students leading normal lives, until one day they are suddenly attacked by strange men, and a young woman named Riko appears to help them. Riko was the assistant to Kasumi's father, a scientist researching technology to harness supernatural abilities called Augments and Opuses.
Devicereign is a typical Japanese adventure game with battles in tactical RPG mode. Most of the story unfolds in a visual novel style, with the player visiting various locations to trigger events and interact with different characters.
Occasionally, combat sequences reminiscent of Tactics Ogre will occur, with the player then controlling Tōya and his companions in isometric, turn-based combat.
