Synopsis

It is a sequel to Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers, set in the world of digital monsters based on the popular manga series. After defeating the evil Millenniumon, our hero Ryou thought this would be his last trip to the Digiworld. However, the four Sacred Digimon summon him again to participate in the D1 Monster Fighting Tournament. But that's not all: it seems that Millenniumon is still alive, and seeking revenge! Now Ryou must win the tournament and defeat his nemesis again.

The gameplay is almost identical to the previous game. You travel through top-down and isometric locations, fight monsters with your own team of monsters, then recruit new monsters and assemble a collection. Battles are turn-based and viewed from an isometric perspective. Monsters have different types of attacks at their disposal. Each attack is represented in the form of a short animated sequence.
