Synopsis
The great ape Donkey Kong kidnaps Pauline, Mario's friend, and takes her to a construction site. In a revival of the 1981 arcade classic, Mario follows him to the highest point and knocks Donkey Kong off the platforms by removing the rivets holding them up, causing Donkey Kong to fall from a height of 100m, reuniting Mario and Pauline, just like the events that happened 13 years ago. However, Donkey Kong unexpectedly recovers, takes Pauline and escapes with her to the big city. Mario pursues the two.
